St. Patricks Day is just around the corner and I have uploaded three new headers with a St. Patrick's Day theme.  I hope that you enjoy them and use them for your St. Patricks day blogging.

I grew up on the South Side of Chicago and was surrounded by a huge Irish population. I am not Irish, just Irish want to be! St. Patrick's Day was really big. Mayor Daley would have the Chicago river  died green (I never quit understood the logistics of that.)  We had the world famous South Side Irish parade, we ate corned beef and cabbage that day and of course drank green beers and  sang Irish ballads at the bars that night!

It was and is really fun to be Irish for a day. Now that I am older, I don't quite celebrate with the same gusto, but I still enjoy it. So to all my Irish brothers and sisters I wish you all a Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I hate blogging, at least I used to. I have to admit it. I love designing backgrounds and templates, but am  at a loss when it comes time to promote my little works of art. How do other people get 15,000 google friends? Will someone let me in on the secret?

I am often envious of people that are able to write beautifully. Their words just flow and I am able to connect with the author and understand what it going on inside of their souls. Why on Gods green earth can't I do it? Life in not fair….

OK enough of the whining! It is time to get down to business. This year is going to be different. Yes I really, really mean it. I will say it again. This year will be the year that I conquer my blogging phobia. I am inviting everyone to follow me on my journey, and promise to share tips as I move forward in the blogoshpere. I would love to know what has worked for you too, as would the other readers of this blog.

So here's to a year of blogging success , new friendships, and adventures for all of us.

Just wanted to wish all of you the best for this holiday season. This Christmas was probably the nicest one my family has had for a long time. All peace and joy, with lots of presents and good food. As the New Year approaches we are all reviewing our past year and setting goals for the new one to come.

This year I plan to:
 

1.  Offer more and better templates and backgrounds.
    
2.  Focus on presenting headers.
    
3.  Make flash buttons for you to use on your blogs.
    
4. Try to be better about posting more often.

You probably have noticed that Free Blogger Backgrounds has a new look. I have been in a zen state of mind lately and felt that less is more (design wise that is!)

I have tried several layouts for my site and think that this is the one I will stick with for awhile.It encourages me to put all my creativity into backgrounds and blogger templates.

I just upload this new Blogger Background. Check it out! It is green with organic textures and leaves.

I have had some complaints that my website is hard to navigate. I have redone the welcome page and now have images directing readers to the different type of backgrounds etc. that I offer.

I hope that this helps people find what they are looking for! I am trying hard to move forward, but I am just a one person show. I do all designing, coding, web maintenance etc. by myself. So please be patient with me

Now onwards to concentrating on what I truly love, bringing you unique blogger backgrounds and templates.
